So sorry for not posting for so long. I've been writing this post in my head for quite some time, but having a very hard time putting it together.
Brandy and Jon had a beautiful baby girl, Casey Hope, on November 20. There were problems with the birth, and Casey was only with us for three days. Brandy and Jon, through their grief, sought a way for Casey's life to make a difference. Casey's heart valves, all four of them, were made available to other babies.

They also make quilts from quilt blocks donated by family members.
This post is so very inadequate, but I can't find a way to express the thoughts and feelings this has left us with. Empty arms, broken heart, un ending tears and heartache, nothing explains it. But knowing other families have had different outcomes because of Casey's precious gift brings some measure of comfort.
